Concrete isn't very forgiving,
Electronic items tend to fragment,
Film backs open on impact,
Exposing all 23 previously taken shots.
Scuff mark on the upper-left corner,
Just a few tiny nicks,
Glass is fine, rewind cranks,
Shutter goes "click" Oh just fine.
Battery check triggers a beep,
Shutter speeds seem ok,
But the meter doesn't move,
The needle stays put.
I cry, and I cry, but it doesn't help,
All it does is get my glasses wet,
I suppose, I should end this song,
Before you all have my neck.
