For many Olympus owners, getting HTML emails is a pain. You can easily
adjust your Outlook Express or Outlook 2000 to fix this. You'll still be
able to read all emails on the list but you'll never make anyone mad by
sending HTML
email.  Sound good?  Here's how:

==============================
Outlook Express version 6
==============================

1. From the menu at the top of the window, print this email by clicking
"File", then "Print", then "OK".
2. Take the instructions off the printer then at the top of the window,
click "Tools", then "Options".
3. You'll see a bunch of tabs, like tabs in a notebook. Click on the tab
labeled "Send".
4. Find the option box labeled, "Reply to messages using the format in
which they were sent".
If there's a checkmark in that box, click on the box once to turn OFF the
checkmark. If it's already OFF, leave it alone.
5. Further down, you'll see a section called "Mail Sending Format". Click
on the dot next to "Plain Text".
6. At the bottom of the window, click on the button called "Apply". Then
click on the button called "OK".
7. You have just adjusted Outlook Express so it will never again send HTML
to the Olympus List. Thank you

==============================
Outlook 2000 (also known as version 9)!
==============================
1. From the menu at the top of the window, print this email by clicking
"File", then "Print", then "OK".
2. Take the instructions off the printer then at the top of the window,
click "Tools", then "Options".
3. Find the tab called "Mail Format" and click it.
4. Next to "Send in this message format", click on the arrow of the dropdown
box. It will give you choices. Click on "Plain Text".
5. Look at the area called "Stationary and Fonts". Next to "Use this
stationary by default", it should say, "<None>" in pale grey letters. If it
doesn't, go back to step 4.
6. At the bottom of the window, click on the button called "Apply". Then
click on the button called "OK".
7. You have just adjusted Outlook 2000 so it will never again send HTML to
the Olympus List.  Thank you
