When I took the camera there, the guy took the battery out... and tested
the battery. dead batteries. He asked me if I bought the two "new" ones
at the same place. I did. He put in a new battery, presto! Meter works
again.
So... It was the battery after all... I bought 2 batteries from Target
and they were both DOA... arrrg.. But at least my meter wasn't broken..
So next time you have a bad meter, buy a battery, from 2 different places...
