Note that the G40 can only be used with iS-3000/2000/1000 (iS-3/2/1). The
foot does not fit anything else (not OM anyway).
I do not think that it is especially suitable for fill flash; it will not
do Super FP flash. Only the built-in flash on the iS-3000 can do that.

Suppose I can get hold of one of these ( I may have just ordered one, I'm
not sure...), I've read the e-SIF but...
Fill flash. Any advantages in having the G40? I want one anyway for my
iS3000, but I have specifics in mind for fill flash use.
