There is a list of people from the list willing to do the occasional scan.
It was, I think, setup for people that wanted to contribute to TOPE and
didn't have a scanner. I'm on that list, and would be happy to scan for
anyone --- keeping in mind the word occasional :)
I'm on the east coast of the US.

Yes, before I manged to sort out a scanner (by selling a 28/2 a while
ago), it was a real pain to see others managing to put photos online.
I now have a reasonable Minolta (Scan Elite with ICE) and I should be
quite happy to scan others' photos (free, of course and in reasonable
numbers :>)).
I expect that European List members' requests would be most practical
as I am in England.
