I wouldn't worry at all about this one.  Unless you want to practice
dismantling and reassembling a lens for practice.

I'm sure John and Clint will chime in if these are still available new.  If
not, your suggestion is a good one.  Pawn shops is another viable
alternative to look for a parts flash.
