[OM] 100-300 Tokina f4 (fixed aperature) AT-X zoom lens

I am tempted to buy the above 100-300 Tokina f4 (fixed aperature) AT-X zoom
lens . Can anyone share with me opinions on the quality of this lens?

What would be a fair price to buy one assuming its in excellent condition?

I would appreciate a quick comment as the ebay bid ends in 24 hrs.
