When I bought my original OM kit it was still the OM-1. With 50/1.4, 24/2.8,
and 75-150/4.0 lens, the whole kit was $660 mailorder from a big New York
store. Keep in mind that this was about four weeks take-home pay for me back
then. Later on I bought my first OM-2n (second OM) from the local Sears
store when they were closing out their camera department. The body only was
marked down to $146 from $192, and my brother worked there so I got another
100ff... I'd buy them all day long for $132 new now!
