That sounds neat.

In your wedding applications: Say you wanted to set the main TTL-Auto flash light system at F2.8.

What aperture would you target for the slave flash?

Let me see if I've got the procedure:

1. Setup the slave light(s) to act as a fill.
2. Setup the main T-series flash light either on- or off-camera.
3. Decide on the aperture you want for your subject
4. Put the flash meter at the subject.
5. Fire the slave flash, dialing down the power until it's X stops below the lens's aperture

Is that right?

When controlling the exposure with the TTL Auto system I use the flash meter
to assure myself that the slave or slaves do not overpower the automatic
system and take away the control. This is done by firing the slaves without
the camera controlled flash, measuring the light, and then setting the
aperture to a higher number that would be required by the slaves alone. The
relative amount of light contributed by the primary and the slaves can be
adjusted by aperture setting, light positions, and slave power (if
adjustable). Even if running in automatic, this requires some previous
experience or current setup experimentation to get the light balance where
you want it. I used to use this automatic/slave control a lot for weddings
and on-location work where it had to work the first time and there was no
time to experiment with the setup. The combination of OM-2N, Bounce Grip 2,
Winder, and T-32 never failed me.......NEVER. I do love that system!
