[OM] Flash Mess (long)

Lots of people seem to be (understandably) confused about how to use all
the shoes, connectors, TTL cords, etc... Not sure if this is going to help
or confuse things, but let me give it a try. For now let's stick simply to
T series flashes, and not muddy the waters with the QA310 and F280.

The T series flashes use a proprietary connector (T connector). TTL cords
(available in 0.1, 0.15, 0.6, 2, and 5 meter lengths) each have a female T
connector at each end. The TTL Shoe cord (0.6m long, IIRC) has a hot shoe
foot at one end and a female T connector at the other. Ergo, what we need
is to use the appropriate accessories to get a female T connector off the
camera end for coinnection to a male T connector at the flash end.

The diagrams below shows all the different methods to get a female T
connection on the end of a cord off of any OM body. Male and female T
connections are labeled MT and FT, respectively.

--------

| |---Modified TTL---MTxFT---TTL Cord---FT
-------- Connector 3
Note: The "Modified Show 3" and the "Modified TTL Connector 3" each have
the TTL quench pin cut off

OK, now we have a camera with a cable dangling off of it ready to be
attached to a flash. For the various flashes here are the ways to do it:

--------
| |---TTL Connector T20---MT
|T20 |
| |---Bounce Grip 2---MT
--------

--------
| |
|T18 |---TTL Connector T20---MT
|3rd |
|party |
| |
--------

--------
| |MT
|T32 |
|T pwr |
|Cntrl |
| |---Bounce Grip 2---MT
--------

--------
| |
|T45 |MT
| |
--------

Finally, given an OM body with the dangling TTL cord (female connector) and
T series flashes with an available male TTL connection, we can hook up
multiple flashes using the TTL multi connectors:

--------- --------
| | | |MTxFT---TTL
Cord---FTxMT-T-Flash
|OM Body|---TTL cord or ---FT x MT|TTL |
| | TTL Shoe Cord |Multi |MTxFT---TTL
Cord---FTxMT-T-Flash
--------- |Conn |
                                    | |MTxFT---TTL
Cord---FTxMT-T-Flash
                                    --------

Confusing enough?
