I have a little story . . .
As some of you know, I just added a Leica M6 page to my camera leathers site.
It generated alot of traffic. . .and some heat. I have only myself to blame; I
deliberately "baited" the line with the most garish stuff I had on a like-new
black body (loaned to me by OM-user Marc Attinasi.)
Most of the emails were friendly and witty, but the ugliest was a nasty swipe:
He said my page was "disgusting". . . "You should be ashamed of yourself" for
this "crap". It was unsigned.
It took Google about 1/60 sec. (OM content) to tell me a couple of things:
1) This fellow is an authorized Leica USA dealer.
2) He has for sale a Special Edition snake-skin Leica for US$ 5,000.00
I sent him a polite but terse reply exposing his hipocrisy. To his credit, he
apologized and gave a reasonable account of his position. We parted peacefully.
Never use your regular email address to send a nasty "anonymous" message!
