Welcome to the list, Linda!

If your OM-10 "ain't broke, don't fix it', certainly applies. Also, be
advised that there are a few problems that can crop up with OM-10s (oily
shutter magnets. This will show up as shutter speeds much longer than called
for, and the mirror may "hang" up). This usually crops up after the camera
has been stored a long time, so if yours is OK, leave it alone. The only
thing that cures this is a CLA (Clean, Lube, Adjust) which will run you at
least $100, which is probably a bit more than an OM-10 is worth. Everything
that works on an OM-10 will work on all other manual-focus Olympus bodies.

If you are concerned about Olympus dropping the OM line, you can still, for a
while, buy a new OM-4Ti, (or 3Ti). They _should_ have repairs available for 7
years, according to US law, at least. But, you're bound to get sticker-shock
when you see the prices new! Also- On the used market- look into an OM-1n,
they are non-electronic, and they last forever, it seems. The 'single digit'
cameras are the more robust 'pro' level, and the double-digit are the lesser,
'consumer' line.

You can also look into a T-32 flash, or an aftermarket Metz, Sunpak, etc.

Any more questions, just ask them here, the price is the same if you ask 1 or
100 questions, just ask Acer! (inside joke).

Best of Luck,
George S.
