After the various input, it appears that I *may* anodise the plates.
As for colour, I may go for either red or blue. The degree of which depends
on what I see. If I go with either colour, I will probably not clad the
camera with red leather but some other suitably contrasting one - e.g. Black
(!).
I don't know when I will get down to it but when it's done, I promise to
submit some photos.
