This past Tuesday I received my seventh, and last -- absolutely
last, I swear -- OM body, a nearly-new OM-4T, from the good folks
at KEH. It came with a Grip 1 attached, which I don't need and
don't have any use for. It won't fit with a motor drive or a
winder, and my three 4s each have a Winder 2; the 3 has a Motor
Drive 1, and the 4T and the 4Ti each have a Motor Drive 2. The
only winder-less or motor drive-less body I have is the 1n, and
the Grip 1 won't fit it because it lacks the threaded hole where
the thing attaches.
Now the proposition: The B&H price for the Grip 1, if they had
any, which they don't, is $17.95. I need a couple of genuine OM
body caps, and if B&H had any of them, which they don't (because I
think I bought the last two they had a few weeks ago) they would
be $8.95 each, or a nickel less per pair than the cost of a Grip 1.
Anybody want to trade? I won't haggle over the nickel, so think
what a tremendous deal you'll be getting!
