Those thumbwheels, IMO, are a pain.  You tighthen them so much you can't
untighten them without mechanical assistance and still they fall out or
at least move far enough to disconnect.  Granted they're about the only
way you could secure a flash in a standard hot (or cold) shoe, but
something better could have been done for the BG2, I'm sure.  Some sort
of spring clip that snaps shut when you push the T32 in and has to be
pushed out of the way to release it would have been good. 

Hmm, I think I can feel a 3rd party modification coming on (do I count
as a 3rd party?)
