Perhaps John H. can shed some light on this? I remember a post a while back where he talked about the hassles of this conversion or some similar topic. He mentioned that the screen was cemented to the prism. But I don't remember anything about changing out the prism.

I was told by a former Olympus service tech that used to work on these bodies that they can't easily be converted to a normal Pen. Apparantly not only is the screen different, but so is the prism. You can't just replace the screen
with a normal one and expect it to work.
