I haven't received mine, either, and I began to worry when someone on the
scanner list said he'd gotten his and had only recently sent in his rebate
material--in December I think he said. So I wrote David and he reassured me
they were being processed, also that he'd forward my email to the right guy.
I still have my fingers crossed.
You're right it's a good deal anyway, though. The scanner works well for
me. For perspective, check out the angst of Nikon scanner owners. <g>

No, and I've been worried about it, too. Last week, I received a flyer
from Calumet in which the $200 rebate from Polaroid was part of the
promotion [still] for the SS4000 scanner. I dropped Calumet an email and
asked whether, in light of the Chapter 11 proceedings, Polaroid would
really honor those rebates. In their reply, Calument said that they had
been assured that Polaroid would honor every current rebate and discount
as part of their reorganization. There is an eight- to ten-week delay
before we get a rebate after submitting the documentation, so I'm still
hanging on to that hope. But I console myself with the thought that,
even if the rebate does not come through, the scanner was still a
bargain for $640.
