I'm not clear on your description. When the lens is shifted, the exposure meter reads something pretty far off of correct exposure. <snip> because I can leave it on auto and not bother about stopped down metering... same with the novoflex no auto-fstop... (a huge telephoto lens with a quick focusing device... that doesn't allow you to take airplanes anymore...) but it's sharp...
