I think your assessment is spot on, overall. I BIN'd a 35 shift this
weekend for what would have once been considered a real bargain. I'm OK
with the downturn in prices, as I'm not currently looking to sell
anything!!!

Post-Christmas offloading of superceded gear, perhaps? I definitely
noticed that UK Olympus classified ads were much thinner on the ground
before christmas than they are now. Or does it go back further than
that?
