These days, however, I would be happy with a good MD2!
Keep an eye on KEH then. I picked up a third (plus a Power Pack 2) this
last July from that store. The combo was rated "Bargain" and works okay
except for the test light. As John H claims these are always the first to
go I'm not surprised--or bothered, as I have little use for that feature.
I don't regret not having experienced the old Nikon bodies first hand,
though I admit that when I jumped into the camera hobby I had my lustful
eyes on that line. On balance, though, Olympus was the way to go for me at
that time. Here we are, a quarter century down the road, and I've no qualms
about my choice.
