Is there a difference between the very early MD1 and the later version? I
have the later version (with the remote socket next to the button) and it
has a hole for storing the MD socket cover in the top of the drive mounting
plate between the words "Olympus" and "OM System Motor Drive 1".

I thought it was nice to have the space at my winder 1. Is there some place
at the motor as well? Just now i taped it to the back of the camera, does
