[OM] sigma 400 APO problem - balky f/stop indicator.

I have a 400mm Sigma APO (OM mount, of course) which has a 
balky f/stop indicator lever.

Would it be reasonable to blow in some graphite power to loosen it 
up?
Or....?

Also, (perhaps connected?) the mount is loose when it goes on the 
OM. It will go past the proper point, and not click in.
