Just a general question. Are there any camera manufacturers out there today
that make OTF cameras? If not, why? I think most are TTL.

I can't discuss the exact technical aspects of the differences. However,
having used my OM-2 and 2n for low light, long exposure photographs, I feel
OTF is valuable and worth having. I recently was photographing a marina
about 30 minutes after sunset. The scene had several different light
sources
in it as well as the low light from the sky above. I set the camera on
"Auto" at f5.6 and put it on the railing of the shoreside dock. I set the
self timer and triggered it and stood back. The process started and with
the mirror up and film exposed, suddenly a boat owner on a nearby boat
turned
on a very bright flood light to light his deck. The photograph came out
fine. Had it been metered TTL the film would have been overexposed. OTF
saved the day.
