Thanks also to everybody else not acknowledged individually, for your help.

All much appreciated. I think the breadth of the contribution makes it clear 
that the machine itself can handle the voltage available, and at worst I might 
have to make up my own power-supply cable or the end-plug.  No problem 
there.
