Hey, Ag

My wife finally replied. All she'll tell me is that it was 'long and
heartfelt'...

Talk about a close call.

My camera bag with wheels (1994 Jeep Cherokee) has 143,000 miles
(286000KM) and is almost completely paid for. Well, I was
grousing recently about wanting a 4Runner. We checked out
several used ones in our price range and also some Grand
Cherokees and Cherokees. The more I test drove, the more I
liked the one I have. Mine doesn't make strange noises, rumble,
grind, howl or stink. Further more, its scratches are MY
scratches.

It will cost me (probably a pop-up trailer), but my wife will
let me keep this Jeep. By winter's end, it will be completely
paid for and ready for more serious off-road adventure. :)

You think this is off-topic? Nope, not at all. I have found
that the best nature photographer's accessory for our OM
equipment is a good well-used 4WD.

Besides... Lack of a car payment means more money for Zuikos!

Whew!
