[OM] Focus Screen mayhem

I've just received a couple of focus screens in the mail: a 1-13
(supposed to be a 1-3) and a 1-8.   There are no tabs on the 1-8.   Is it
supposed to come this way?   On installation, how would I be able to tell
whether I've got the "right" side up?   Does it matter?
