With an F280 flash and the 4Ti in auto mode, you can sync at any speed above
1/60, but the working distance is quite poor. In manual mode you're limited
to a maximum speed of 1/60. On a 4Ti you need batteries to fire the flash,
even if you set the camera to the mechanical 1/60 speed. The 3Ti doesn't.
