Thanks all for the advice. The reason I was planning on selling the lens
was to put the profit over the other 35-70 zooms towards the 300 4.5.
However, all the "outrage" ;-> over my thinking has changed my mind. I will
keep the 3.6, which is a super lens.
Thanks for all your input....I am now back on the straight and narrow!!!!

All of what Skip mentioned, plus, much of the 3.5/4.5 and MOST of the
3.5/4.8's bodies are plastic. I believe the 3.6 is an all metal lens body.
Don't know about the 4.
