 So if Canon can make what's effectively a 'digital back' for their cameras,
why can't Olympus? I've seen the powerpoint show explaining about the
optics, but it seems as if Canon think they've beaten it.

 (hm.. if you could somehow make a curved CCD, you could definitely solve
this)
