Tried that and got "camera is 8+ (83%) thought that US list members might
turn that into regular English for me - hence my question

I would interpret this to mean the camera is a really nice "user" -- and
maybe even slightly better. It might easily show some wear or brassing but
generally should look pretty good and not embarrass you to own and should
work perfectly.
