I have a 17/2.8 from the same manufacturer (BeLOMO). I've found it a good
performer but never tried it out on the OM. Mine has a M42 mount and a
Contax/Yashica adaptor so fits my old Yashica FX-D. I believe the problem
with M42 to OM adapters is they require an optical element, effectively
increasing the focal length. Recently obtained a Zuiko 16/3.5 so the 17
probably won't see much service from now on.
