I always used to think I was lucky, but this is beyond luck.
I went into a camera store in Albury (a country town) responding to their
ad for a used 55mm f1.2 in mint condition. The lens turned out to have
fungus in it and I thought what a waste of time it had been (a 300 km
drive). I asked if he had an Olympus junk bin somewhere and he said "Yes
but it doesn't have anything special in it..."
I said I may as well have a look. I was rummaging through the old lens
hoods and cases. My heart almost stopped when I found a bagful of old
bayonet style MD caps!! It looked like a bag full of small coins! It was
loaded. I asked the guy how much for these. He said "hmmm it will be too
much hassle hand writing a receipt. You've driven out 300k's, take them,
they're yours."
I walked out of the shop calmly with the bag in hand. My heart was racing.
I tipped out the contents and counted them. 87 bayonet style MD caps!! 23
black the rest in chrome....

After cleaned out my closet and posted many OM stuff for sale (on ebay,
under "om4t" user name, sorry!), I have a few items left. They are FREE to
first requestor (Please take less than 3 item per person)
1) Three generic OM body caps
2) One 49mm Minolta lens cap (front), OK to use on OM's 49mm lens
3) One F280 manual
4) One OM-2/2N manual - not photocopy
5) Two sheets of adhesive foam (1/8 inch and 1/16 inchs) - I used a little
bit to fix the light sealer on my XA's, but a lot left.
If the postage is less than $1.00, I will ship it to you free. If it is
more, please consider to reiumbersed the postage (and I still ship to you
first)
