I was wondering if anyone on this board owned an Olympus 35 SP camera,
I just wondered what you thought of the camera and how it works. I saw
one recently and liked the unique leaf shutter by Seiko. (can this be so?)

I've got one, too, which I'm using as a "backup" to my OM-1 (in case of OM-1 and/or "operator" failure <g>). I like it a lot, though mostly as a body I can point and shoot. It's much better built than most current P&Ss and takes very sharp pictures. I will verify that it's quiet. It also _can_ be less obtrusive than an SLR in public, but it _is_ bigger than the other P&Ss I'm auditioning as a backup (M*n*lt* Hi-Matic, Y*sh*c* T, and N*k*n LFA35), and adding a regular-sized flash completely removes the SP from the "unobtrusive" category (suppose I need a T-20 or such, huh?)
