The battery to my T45 Flash died last year, so I bought a Quantum Turbo Z
battery pack and have never looked back. Quicker recycling, less weight,
twice the battery life are the advantages, and the cord is but a minor
inconvenience. Now the question: I just noticed the T Power Control 1 for
my T28 Macro Twin Flash has a receptacle that fits the Turbo Z cord, just
like the one on the T45. But it?s labeled ?AC 100V 50/60Hz 71Ws?. I don?t
know much ?bout ?lectricity, but I?m fairly sure what comes out of the
Turbo Z ain?t AC. Naturally, I don?t want to do harm to anything with the
Olympus name on it, particularly since these things are expensive and hard
to find, so can somebody tell me whether or not I can use the Turbo Z with
the T Power Control? I don?t know that I would ever want to, but I?d like
to know, just in case.
