Couldn't have said it better, Dave. This "fear" thing is ridiculous and mars 
the entire system..one bad retributory feedback won't kill anyone...but 
continuing to not comply truthfully to the system just messes it all up. Once 
the check clears and the seller can send the item, he should leave good 
feedback. Once the buyer receives it and decides the transaction is over, he 
should leave feedback. Keep it simple and truthful and it works pretty well. 
I have had to zing a couple and was pretty lucky in that very soon afterward 
they were kicked off Ebay (which shows on their comment as "no longer 
registered"...hang in Tom..this dude may be gone before you know it.
