Once took a very old 625 out of a wrecker - Minnie 101 I think it was - it
read spot on 1.35 and lasted over 2 years of careful use! It had to have
been in the camera for over 10 years before I got it. Merc's have legendary
lifespans. I just changed one in my Leica which was in it when I bought the
camera 2 years ago from a deceased estate - that one may have been in
camera much longer.
