Cat's been out of the bag for quite a while, just been harder for some to
catch it.
This MC thing is:
1. hard to understand at first
2. overblown, in my opinion

Is it? I wonder since some have indicated that MC was not just added
to lenses, but that the lenses or at least elements of the lenses
needed to be reformulated as part of the MC process. Wouldn't that
explain the sometimes dramatic improvement demonstrated between the
SC and MC model in Gary's lens tests? It seems to be not just the
coating, but the lens improvement that is important. And even if it
were just the coating who would argue that less flare and more
contrast is not a good thing?
