I don't know what a CLA on a 50/1.4 would run, but I'd say that it's 
probably on the line of "economic feasibility."  One not-so-minor 
consideration, though....  how much "sentimental value" does the lens 
hold?  If it were the original 50/1.4 that you bought new 20 years ago 
and used to take all your kids' pictures with, then you *might* wanna 
get it fixed even though 'nuther one could be had for a few dollars more.
Don't mind me....  I'm still justifying sinking more money into a CLA for 
my bought-new-in-82 OM-10 than it was worth!  :-)))
