I wanted to thank the numerous list members who responded both on and off
list about my eBay problem. While I've purchased a number of things off
eBay, I've rarely used eBay to sell (as in only 3 times before this). I
purchased an ad generator (AdGen 2.0, off eBay of course) last year. It
outputs HTML code. Afterwards, I diddle with the code until I get it
looking the way I want (using IE to check the look). I decided to snip off
the plug at the end of the auction for AdGen. I've done that before. Well
this time I got a little carried away and deleted too much. The culprit was
indeed a missing </table>. Since I was starting 5 auctions, I didn't
regenerate for each ad but instead just modified the text from the previous
ad, so I replicated my mistake each time. Last night I was able to edit my
two auctions with no bids so that they appear correctly now. (In addition
to IE, I've got Netscape 4.7 at home, so I was able to double check
everything.) As for the other three auctions, since they're so near done, I
just added the text portion of the ad again. That pulled up fine for me in
Netscape. The IE folks get the bonus of seeing it twice. For future
auctions, I'll definitely check things with IE and Netscape before uploading
to eBay.

Once again, thank you very much for your help.

Mike
