"Kodak and Olympus have signed a cross-licensing agreement that will see
the two companies sharing research knowledge in digital camera
technology.
The agreement, which was announced at the PMA trade show in Florida last
week, follows a series of similar partnerships in recent years. No
financial terms or details were divulged.
Both companies have a portfolio of around 1000 patents relating to
digital cameras and digital photography systems. The two have also
agreed to work together to promote printing and sharing images over the
internet, perhaps utilising Kodak's online printing service."
