Hoi Olaf.

Jaap heeft me geholpen, net op tijd. Zaterdagmiddag toen ik in de
winkel was waar de lens gewoon in de etalage - maar nog pas één dag -
stond, was hij eerst niet telefonisch bereikbaar. Ik ben toen naar
huis gegaan en heb Jaap nogmaals gebeld - toen was hij er wel. 
Hij heeft de lens zelf verleden jaar gekocht in de VS, en dat wist ik.
Toen hij me vertelde wat hij er voor betaald had, wist ik niet hoe
gauw ik terug moest rijden naar de winkel: gelukkig stond hij er nog.
Ik heb hem gekocht voor f 2000.- . (Jaap had er een veelvoud voor
betaald, ik geloof f 12000, maar misschien is deze info wel een beetje
'confidential' dus ik houd het maar off-list)

John Foster bood ook direkt zijn hulp aan, en stelde ook een soort van
co-ownership voor. Maar toen had ik hem al gekocht...
Merkwaardig, dat je in een gerenommeerde fotozaak zoiets kunt
tegenkomen. Ze weten alles van alle prijzen. Deze lens was er eentje
uit een grote net ingeruilde Pen-F set, en alle andere meer gangbare
artikelen waren goed aan de prijs, of zelfs gewoon duur. Maar juist
die ene heel erg zeldzame lens (volgens John zijn er minder dan 50
gemaakt, mijn nummer is 100126) was veel te goedkoop.
Enfin, ik ben er heel blij mee natuurlijk.
