The cups OlyGuy sells are NOT OEM and fit loosely. These are the ones with
the extra rubber on one side to fit your eye orbit. I had precisely the same
thing happen to me. I bought 2 eyecups from the OlyGuy and put them on my
OM4t and Om-1 for a weekend outing on the Durango Narrow Gauge Railroad. In
the process of getting on and off the train a dozen times, I lost both of
them. I had a Eyecup2 with me that I used thereafter and never had a
problem. I've given up on those generic cups.
