I set my 4T to mechanical 1/60, wired up my Vivitar 285 flash, set the
12 second shutter delay prefire lever and pressed the shutter release
thinking that I time to get into the picture before the shutter released
and the flash fired. Mistake !! The flash and the shutter fired
immediately and simultaneously. I repeated the procedure again with the
same results.
Is this usual? Does mechanical 1/60 not work the delayed action shutter
release mechanism?
