I have a Vivitar 285HV flash gun and a 4T body. Mechanical "red" 1/60
syncs with the flash but I am wondering if all speeds from and including
1/60 and slower on the normal "blue" dial would also sync with the
flash. Does anyone know?
I want to do some fill flash shots and include some ambient light effect
but at the same time have the flash fill in some, but not all, of the
shadow areas. Using mechanical "red" 1/60 would exclude the ambient
light effect so I am looking to use a slower shutter speed.
