Sam,
I believe the negative reaction you received was a direct result of
attempting to start a totally OT discussion without any Olympus basis.
Most, repeat, most of the nasty off-topic discussions have begun rather
innocently.
There is nothing we can settle or define in this group, probably no other
group either.

It gains the "Olympus community" nothing to discuss this.

I don't think you were wrong in using good judgment, I think you were using
poor judgment in attempting to use this group for that particular forum.
Censorship has little to do with it, that is not the topic of this group.
Period.  We go through  too much when we get off topic without meaning too!
Why ask for trouble?
