I have used the 28/2 only a few times, but I found it very sharp and
contrast, no sign of more flare than the other two you have mentioned.
Look through the lens under a stronger point light source (not to the
sun of course! :-)), turn the lens a bit until the light is not
directly shine to your eyes, any flare should be easily visiable. 

My 24/2 was having some problem with an inside element, I used it for
ten years and only found out the problem last year and replaced it,
before that I just thought the 24/2 was not so good in flare
resistance. Same case for my 35/2, so be careful for any bargain
condition item. I bought the 24/2 used in 1990 at $190 and the 35/2 at
$100. It was around 600f the normal price at that time.
