Check the 2 little contacts on the back of the winder. These link up to the
250 back and should have continuity across them. If they are "open" winder
will not work.

| If the circuit board's cracked, nothing (except replace the circuit board,
which I had to do in mine). New circuit boards run approx. $20 to $30 CDN,
depending on the repair depot's mark-up. The labour will cost you more.
