This is kind of a moot question, but I was surfing e-bay and found an OM-1
MD black which had "brassing" on the top plate.
I was intrigued because I have an OM-1 MD black with a "brassed" top plate,
but the metal under the black paint is either stainless steel or some kind
of aluminum alloy, not brass.
I was curious... when were these differences introduced, and what other
differences might there be between these different OM-1's?
Neither are OM-1n's.
