[OM] winder update

Thanks for all the suggestions and help offers which I'll keep it reserve) from
the group- Tuesday evening, while going through the "cleansing"
procedure, I decide to keep my mind off thing and start to investigate my
winder problem. Yes there was fresh batteries in place. When cross
connecting the winder to camera contacts the advance shaft spun freely and
wildly. When simply mounting the winder on the camera, the camera locker up
after advancing one frame and wouldn't fire in single and/or sequence mode.
After removing the winder, the camera went back to normal operation. I
then notice just north of the advancing spindle, a pin in an oval slot the I
could shift from left to right. When I set this pin to the right, and re
mounted the winder, the camera could be advanced and
fired (one frame at a time in both single and sequence) if I used the camera
button.
I have a suspicion that has sometime to do with this pin being possibly frozen
as it is sluggish to move manually.

                        yours advancing to a solution,

                                Garry D. Lewis
