Barry:
The "double" batteries don't work very well in OM bodies. The voltage drops
off too quickly, and the cameras will die at the most inopportune times. (My
OM-10 stopped on me at a high-school reunion a few years ago with a nearly
new battery in it.)
If you're not aware of it, the FAQs have a wealth of this kind of info.
